My purpose in life is to communicate, educate, and encourage, authenticity and wisdom or it could be said like this: to provide meaningful, inspiring, quality-filled, and productive services and information to those who want to breathe life into their dreams.

i just realized that shows that have "stuff" in it are the shows I love. I really don't like watching an hour of "nothing". I like "sub plots", multi layers, making me feel as if I just spent three glorious hours wrapped up into fantasy land when it was only one -- that's good tv!

Crossposted to: [info]poorinto

I mentioned it last year and I'm mentioning it this year -- this is a MUST GO TO event for ALL artists who want to practice professionally.

It's $35 and is an ALL DAY event that includes LUNCH (at least it did when I went to it a few years back) and it's on March 16th (I believe). It's also for under 30's but I saw some older people there too. If you are worried about not being let in, just ask if it's okay. The younger the spirit, the easier it will be for you to get away with it! lol

Call the Y.E.S. group http://yes.on.ca/asp/index_wf.asp
Venue: The Arts & Letters Club is of great historical value (Group of Seven) in the art community. http://www.artsandlettersclub.ca/ <http://www.artsandlettersclub.ca/>

You are likely to find NOTHING about this event on-line -- it's like the hidden job market (you usually find out about it from someone else that's in the know (like me!)) though it is often advertised in the NOW once or twice.

This is an annual event and I can't rave enough about it. Be sure to bring your business cards and artists materials (that can be used with others around and while sitting at a beautiful wood table -- i.e. nothing messy/nothing toxic).

Over 200 people show up in this beautiful room with 25FT? plus ceiling height. Okay, I can't say enough about it... Sign up early, seats sell out FAST...

ENJOY!!!

Jan. 7th, 2006 @ 09:01 pm I want to see other parties in the debate...
NDP is the only "sane" choice at this point and I would love to see Green Party as another choice. Do you feel the same?

Then check this letter out:

Thanks to the participation of people like you, we now have over 40,000 signatures on our online petition for Green Party of Canada leader Jim Harris to be included in the televised leaders' debates. The broadcasters are taking notice, but still have not reversed their decision.

Now we need to push that number to over 50,000 people before the final televised debates start on Monday evening. Only 10,000 people submitted questions for the other party leaders in the first debates, so this would mean that five times more Canadians are asking for all five leaders to be in the debate.

Can you help us achieve that goal by asking friends, family, and colleagues to sign on too? Remember, this is not necessarily about supporting the Green Party of Canada, it’s about defending Canadian democracy!

The easiest way for you to help is to use the new page we set up for this at:
http://www.info-greenparty.ca/petition/forwardmsg.asp

If you prefer you can forward this message to others and ask them to go sign on at:
http://www.info-greenparty.ca/petition/

If you have done that and want to help more, please consider becoming a member, making a donation, talking to others about the Green Party, or volunteering for a local candidate.

Thank you again.
Sincerely,

George Read
Campaign Manager
Green Party of Canada
